DE JONG has performed at Tante Nino’s bij de Khachapuri Kino Club #21 en #31 with live music and collagefilms. He has his roots in Rotterdam, member of legendary band THE BRAIN 1978-88 with SAUER. Was involved in theater with GEERLINGS. Studied classical cello, on tour with VAN HOUDT performing SJOSTAKOVICH, USTVOLSKAYA, performing in film le grand TANGO met SMIT, composed and performed NEIGHBOURHOOD MUSIC with Rotterdam Arts Council and VERSCHUREN. DE JONG became famous as an image&sound performer at the American student campus by providing free downloads and cool music/sound of THE BOOKS (1999-2012), with ZAMMUTO.
