7 Charkras Noordereiland
What happens if you approach an island as a living being? In this series of seven Sunday mornings, we explore Noordereiland through the seven chakras—as a way of focusing attention on how we move, perceive, and relate to our surroundings. Each session takes place at a different location on the island. We work with simple, accessible exercises drawn from yoga, qi gong, and guided attention practices. No prior experience is required. The workshops are not structured as fixed classes, but as a shared exploration: - of the body (posture, breathing, movement) - of the place (architecture, history, use) - and of the relationship between the two We move slowly across the island—from the bridge and its edges toward more sheltered and central spaces—observing how each location produces a different quality of attention. *** Programme: *** Sunday May 17 — Introduction + Root (meet at Tante Nino, then west tip under the Erasmus Bridge) Introduction, outline of the trajectory, and first exercises around grounding, pressure and load bearing.
