World Wide Neighbours

Bram, Gerwin and Vincent are 3 musicians connected by one balcony and a passion for music.

After an open mic where all three neighbours performed they found out that their musical characters made the night a hit even though they come from very different angles. This night you will be treated with a smörgåsbord of sound styles transcending time and emotional space.

Vincen Malambo:

We will open the night with poetic chanting. Vincent is a Zambian performance artist who uses a traditional instrument from Tonga called the kuyabila. Together they’ll roar rhythm and rhyme through the crowd.

Vincent wil start alone but in the second half of his time slot Bram will join Vincent for an improvised part. 

Gerwin:

After that Gerwin will present his dark, electronic sounds. Combined with drone-like instruments Gerwin creates a heavy and dramatic atmosphere. within his voice and lyrics.

He is momentarily releasing his third album.

Bram = Kate Bjork:

Kate Bjork will blast away her colorfull pallet of soundpainting after the break. Every piece is a powerful painting in progress. Kate will improvise with electronic and analog instruments. This way every song is a neverending moment that won’t return. Every genre and bpm  is welcome in Kate’s world as long as they are open for change.
