From 24 to 30 November, the German folk band Weavers Gallery will be in residence at Tante Nino for a week full of music and experimentation. The trio — Tina, Marius, and Bene from Toronto, Cologne, and Essen — writes intimate songs for vocals, guitar, and drums, like a painting by Edward Hopper: melancholic, comforting, and gentle. Their music moves between the poetic power of Bob Dylan and the warm musicality of Norah Jones, with a minimalist sound that creates space and resonates deeply. On Saturday 30 November at 8:00 p.m., they will conclude their residency with a concert at Tante Nino.

Van 24 tot 30 november verblijft de Duitse folkband Weavers Gallery bij Tante Nino voor een week vol muziek en experiment. Het trio — Tina, Marius en Bene uit Toronto, Keulen en Essen — schrijft intieme songs voor zang, gitaar en drums, als een schilderij van Edward Hopper: melancholisch, troostend, vriendelijk. Hun muziek beweegt zich tussen de poëtische kracht van Bob Dylan en de warme muzikaliteit van Norah Jones, met een minimalistische klank die ruimte schept en raakt. Op zaterdag 30 november om 20.00 uur sluiten ze hun residentie af met een concert bij Tante Nino.
