Wat is er te beleven?
The Improvisatorium is an open collective that exists of the people who are in the room that day. Head Lab Technician Bram will start the experiment with initial ingredients and methodologies. From there it’s up to the collective to decide where the creativity shows, flows and grows in a 3 hour session of art in flux.
Among the main ingredients will be the star tetrahedron itself, s a symbol of polarity and unity in one. Let’s see what happens when we pull on the expression lever push the ideas into the melting pot,
The melting pot is a cross-disciplinary residency named: “Bridging a Distance” taking place in the weeks after this IImprovasitorium. In this residency, 3 artists Dani Fleckenstein, Maaike van Liempt and Katarina Kadijević will combine visual and sonic art with poëtry in the bridge houses of the Oude Willemsbrug. They will be participating in this experiment too!
Our input is not limited by these art forms, by any bridges or stars. They are merely igniting the combustion of creative thought. The Improvisatorium is focused on the process of art and not the result.
Join us for a day of making new connections with ourselves and each other, through improvisation and associative play, to contribute to the collective development of a shiny new thing that without connection, could never come into existence!
