A contemporary operatic experiment at the edge of desire, chaos, and catharsis. Inspired by the psyche and work of Sylvia Plath.
Exiting Chaos is our personal journey out of a state of mind where everything pulls you in different directions at once. A mind overloaded with information, full of desires, and weighed down by obligations from all sides.
The result? A physical and mental numbness—where even the smallest decision feels out of reach, and taking a single step seems impossible. Coming from different artistic backgrounds, we tried to create a shared language—one where speech, music, visuals, and drama all play an equal role.
Along the way, we faced our own chaos—and found a way through it. Our discoveries can now be sung, sounded, performed, and drawn— in this staged collage of sound, image, and voice.

Een hedendaags operatisch experiment op de grens van verlangen, chaos en catharsis. Geïnspireerd door de psyche en het werk van Sylvia Plath.
Exiting Chaos is onze persoonlijke reis uit een gemoedstoestand waarin alles je tegelijkertijd aan alle kanten meesleurt. Een geest overladen met informatie, vol verlangens, en bezwaard door verplichtingen van alle kanten.
Het resultaat? Een fysieke en mentale gevoelloosheid—waar zelfs de kleinste beslissing buiten bereik lijkt, en één enkele stap zetten onmogelijk voelt. Vanuit onze verschillende artistieke achtergronden hebben we geprobeerd een gedeelde taal te creëren—één waarin woord, muziek, beeld en drama allemaal een evenwaardige rol spelen.
Onderweg kwamen we onze eigen chaos tegen—en vonden we er een weg doorheen. Onze ontdekkingen kunnen nu gezongen, geklonken, gespeeld en getekend worden—in deze geënsceneerde collage van klank, beeld en stem.
